NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason if the IPAA moves forward with the 2023 celebration. Therefore all registration fees are non-refundable. On April 4th, 2023, the IPAA board accepted over 900 registrations and has decided to move forward with the 2023 celebration. This is due to financial commitments to our vendors and others to hold the event. INTERNATIONAL PEACE ARCH ASSOCIATION (IPAA) MINIMUM REGISTRATION AND EVENT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY The International Peace Arch Association (IPAA) needs 1,000 registered participants by April 1st, 2023, to move forward with the celebration. There is a discount for staying both Friday and Saturday nights. Camp donations will be processed AFTER the IPAA meets our minimum number of registrants or determines that we will move forward with the 2023 celebration. The suggested DONATION for a CAMPSITE is $30 per night (max 10 per site), and an RV SITE is $35 per night. The Camp RV sites are by DONATION, which will cover the costs of the IPAA providing services required by the City of Blaine to hold the camp. If you wish to RESERVE a CAMPSITE, you will check a box on your order form and receive an email notification within 48 hours to begin processing your reservation. The Ticketsignup service provides a list of registered HATB participants in the order they are received. Once the camp is full, we will post it on this page. Campsites will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You/your unit must be registered for the HATB celebration to qualify to reserve campsites. Saturday, June 10th, and Sunday, June 11th, the Peace Arch Park Snack Shack will be open from 10 am to 5 pm for goodie bag pickup.ĪLL HATB CAMPSITES ARE FULL! Hands Across the Border, we will follow our Event Cancellation Policy to distribute our REGISTRANTS Goodie bags and t-shirts. We recognize the unique environment surrounding the park and the impact on the neighboring community. This will be in addition to the current Special Activity Permit. Moving forward, Washington State Parks will work on a document outlining the necessary unique event like Hands Across the Border steps to be approved. Since the pandemic and border closure, we are the first group to attempt to have a cross-border public event at the Peace Arch State & Provincial Parks. We must work with eight government agencies and the surrounding communities to hold the event.
